Our 10th birthday quiz night raises £1,659 - thank you to all our supporters

An enormous thank you to everyone who came to our 10th birthday quiz night on 14th March at the Brewer's Inn in Wandsworth. We were delighted to see so many friends and supporters. It was a wonderful evening with a challenging quiz and a raffle full of fantastic prizes. Thank you once again to quizmaster Scott who always does such a great job.
We raised an excellent total of £1,659, (£459 more than last year) all of which will directly help Wandsworth children learn to love to read.
We hope the winning team will be proudly sporting their Learn to Love to Read tote bags and keyrings wherever they go (and enjoying their chocolate prizes too). Seventeen guests also walked away some with brilliant raffle prizes including a photography experience, a Sunday lunch at the Brewer's Inn, a Thames river sightseeing pass, two climbing sessions, a karaoke session and our top prize of the night: a superb Learn to Love to Read book-themed birthday cake, made and decorated by our very own Family Programmes Manager, Sally.
