L2L2R supporter Matt is taking to the saddle to cycle 300 miles from London to Paris and raise funds for Learn to Love to Read on 19th-23rd July. Here's what he had to say about why we are his charity of choice:

"I have a young daughter whose school continually stresses to us the importance of reading for a child's development. It is the foundation on which her, and all children's, future will be built.

I also have family members and friends who struggled with reading or literacy and personally it was the only subject I ever needed assistance with when of a school age and therefore know the scars it can leave behind.

I'm riding for Learn to Love to Read as they are a local charity helping kids in the schools where I live, giving those that need a little extra support and the best start possible in life to fulfil their future potential. For me that's hugely important and a massive motivation when the ride gets tough to push the peddles around 'one more time'."

You can help Matt raise funds by donating on his Just Giving page. All money raised will go directly to helping Wandsworth children learn to love to read. Thank you Matt for choosing us!
