Paola tells us why, as an Early Years educator, she feels helping children engage with books and reading is so important:

"I am a passionate Early Years educator and a student of an MA in Early Years Childhood Education. I love observing young children develop and engage with books as it is a strong resource to learn. To help children love the world of books and literature at early stage is the best gift we can give them to achieve a greater future. My dad loved reading and books and unfortunately he did not have the resources in his childhood. He always encouraged me to learn and study and read, read, read!

For this reason, I will be running for Learn to Love to Read so they can continue supporting children and their families."

Paola is taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 9th October to raise funds for Learn to Love to Read. We are enormously grateful for all her hard work so far. You can support Paola by donating through Just Giving.
