For this year only, the iconic London Marathon will be taking place on Saturday and Sunday and for the first time ever Learn to Love to Read have secured two charity places for Saturday.

This world famous event is hugely popular and it's route will take you past some of the most iconic landmarks in the world including Tower Bridge, Big Ben and of course culminating in the Buckingham Palace finish.

Each day will have some 50,000 runners taking part and thousands of spectators creating the most amazing atmosphere.  This is your chance to experience it.

For your chance to join Team L2L2R for the 2027 Double TCS London Marathon please complete the below application form and give as much detail as you can to help us ensure that our limited places go to runners who are committed to raising funds and helping us to make every child a reader.

We thank you for your interest in joining team L2L2R.  We anticipate receiving multiple applications so please do note that this application does not guarantee you a place.  We will review all applications after our closing date of 31st July 2026 and will aim to respond no later than Friday 7th August 2026.

If you are successful in being offered one of our places, we will ask you to pay an initial non-refundable registration fee of £100 (inclusive of VAT)**, to accept our terms and conditions and to raise a minimum sponsorship amount of £2000 (exclusive of Gift Aid).  

Please only apply if you’re confident that you can raise this amount, but rest assured we will be there to support you throughout the journey.

**The non- refundable registration fee and acceptance of our terms and conditions will be due no later than 14 days after receiving an offer.
