Early years

These classes give parents the confidence and skills required to support their child’s early literacy learning. Through singing, chatting , playing and reading stories together, vocabulary is expanded and interest in sharing books increases. 

Early Years classes are run in person. Families attending will  receive a book and other literacy resources each week to use at home. They will also receive Whatsapp messages twice a week during the classes and once a month after the classes end with helpful tips  and ideas for activities to develop their child's literacy skills. 

These classes can be run in partnership with schools, children centres, Wandsworth charities or other relevant bodies.
